Rio Carnival: The festival of the Brazilian people 13 to 16 February 2010
Brazil celebrates annually "his" carnival undoubtedly, is the biggest party of the allegorical world, an unrivaled feast that borders on collective madness! In Rio de Janeiro, as in several cities in Brazil, the carnival held every year for five days, several schools of samba.
The Carnival begins the Friday before the week of Lent and ends with the imperative to Ash Wednesday. The traditional parade of samba schools begins on Friday at "Sambodromo" by schools of lesser importance. The large and famous schools (twenty) enter "scene" on Sunday and Monday night. They marched from 19 hours to about 6 am, each with four thousand dancers and twenty tanks before a jury, by a wise calculation of notations (music, decorations), appoint the best school.
Not surrounded by a dazzling parade of costumes and elaborately decorated floats, the stars of samba dance the frenetic pace of batteries bewitching an audience who expresses his happiness. This is the real party where all the people involved in the joy and is carried away by the wonderful and the emotion aroused by this show unique.
Some groups, smaller, dancing in the streets to the rhythm of batucadas different districts, while the balls of the carnival, organized by clubs and hotels in all the city, show that the Rio Carnival is a festival magic, enchanting, joyful mythical and which combines music, literature and light.
