Arabian Travel Market Dubai: From Tuesday, May 4, 2010 to Friday, 7 May 2010
Leisure tourism is increasingly important each year.
Many people go to visit around the world: fitness and relaxation in a spa center, lazing on the beach, resting in houses and charming inns ...
This exhibition invites visitors to discover the different activities staged throughout the Middle East.
The Moroccan National Tourist Office participated, from 4 to 7 May, at the eleventh edition of Dubai. This major event, particularly for tourism in the Middle East, welcomed
over 800 representatives from 60 countries.
Important market for Moroccan tourism, the Arab market represents over 17% of tourism revenue, 3, 2 billion dirhams. It occupies the second place, just behind France. This is one reason why the participation in the demonstration held in the heart of the UAE capital and the opening of a Moroccan place vectors are considered essential for the promotion of tourism in Morocco.
The Importance of Living in Dubai is well proven. So popular that the annual trade show London World Trade Market or the largest annual exhibition in European tourism, the International Fellowship of Berlin, this event has become, in just a few years, the meeting of tourism professionals in the Arab world. For this eleventh edition, the Moroccan stand has attracted hundreds of visitors and decision makers from the region who are considering already to develop the tourist flows towards the Kingdom. The development of air transport between the two destinations will certainly help to increase tourist flows. Indeed, four direct flights from Dubai, Qatar and Abu Dhabi daily serve Morocco.
In addition to direct flights, the airline Air France also connects Dubai to Casablanca and Rabat and also contributes to the development of tourism between these countries in the Middle East and Morocco.
