FITUR 2011: The big thermometer in the tourism sector presents its thirty-first edition.
With the promise of 12,000 exhibiting companies from 170 countries and across ten pavilions at IFEMA, the International Tourism Fair confirms its position among the largest, globally.
Innovation and specialization, always present two applications on the market, will have the important place that always gives them FITUR. Days on innovation in tourism, Fiturtech, will celebrate its fifth edition.
During these, travel agencies, operators, hotels and international experts in tourism development and management will meet and exchange information and strategies in order to make the proposals more attractive to customers each time more demanding in terms their escapades.
Adventure travel, cultural, gastronomic, sports specialization of risk ... is a trend every time stronger and more requested by travelers. One of the novelties in this thirty-first edition of the show is the challenge for the promotion of gay tourism. A whole pavilion was devoted to tourism offerings directed to Customer LGBT (lesbians, gay, bisexual, and transgender), a market with the highest growth in recent years.
The promotion of destinations for every taste and every pocketbook, from exotic countries in the Pacific until proposals for relaxing rural type of the Castilian plateau remains the main asset of FITUR. While all professionals in the tourism sector benefit from this meeting point that represents the show, the public can plan their next vacation and arrange them in new places that he had perhaps not considered before.
